“You don’t choose the pigments, they choose you,” were words from artist, writer and speaker Makoto Fujimura speaking at Regent College Monday night. Makoto was speaking of his art and the beauty he creates in his art.
He described his art as ultimately a collaboration with nature. We spoke of the similarities to community building and the collaborations, reciprocal relationships and beauty that are created when we share our gifts.
Mukato is an international advocate for the arts and currently working on a book, “Culture Care.”
