
This was the last large gathering I was part of before social distancing became the expectation. This was 3 days with old friends and meeting new ones; all sharing how people build connections in their neighbourhoods and the significance of this. As you can see we weren’t 6 feet apart.

Now we mostly suppress our social tendencies but have time to notice things. The giant Rhubard plants in the park have grown over a foot in the past week. This week I had a brief conversation with an old neighbour I ran into on the street and I noticed how good it felt to connect in person.
Just like these plants, I wonder how our connections and adventures will grow once we are together again
