With multiple flight cancellations, I had time to study the contents of this unusual vending machine. This is a SouveNear machine at the Cincinnati Airport. A wide variety of items from colouring books to earrings to T-shirts all made by local artists are for sale. Most of the items are not typically at the chain gift shops down the hall. It was easy to pass on by without noticing these local treasures if your’e in a hurry to catch a flight.

I was struck by the name, what made up the “local” and how I would have missed it if I was in a hurry.
