Nelson’s Market

Tucked back in the quaint York neighbourhood of Bellingham, WA is Nelson’s Market.    This small convenience store and cafe is a hub of hospitality and neighbourly connection.  From the surprisingly positive signage on the outside of the building, “Sure You Can Park Here” and “Stapler Available Inside” to the personal and friendly greeting when you walk in, Nelson’s Market shares the community spirit in full strength.

Nelson’s became a grocery store in 1916 and has been operated by  Jon and the Otsby family for the last 25 years.
