People will act, on what they care about. Last night I was reminded of this when I met with the cohort at City Shapers. City Shapers is a civic education program that brings together young community builders from across Metro Vancouver to learn about civic engagement. They explore both formal and informal ways of getting involved and shaping the future of our communities. City Hive hosts this project.

I learned about the diverse passions, ideas and hopes of each of the participants for their communities. Each had developed a project idea around what they cared about. Thanks so much for inviting me to this conversation.
