The Brantford Station Gallery is a treasure in Brantford, Ontario.
Since 2008, the gallery has become a special place for the local artistic community to share their gifts and creative talents. They have also built a small non-profit organization to expand the programs and performances that are offered.
Today, I was lucky to be able to experience “Roots Revival.” This is a Sunday afternoon live music show that happens from 2-4pm every week.
Besides taking in the amazing music and atmosphere, I snuck in the chance to strike up a conversation with Scott Bradshaw and John Jackson, the two performers. We chatted about life in Brantford, their diverse careers in music and quickly got to our shared love for Bob Dylan.
The Gallery hosts local art exhibits and meetings for many groups and clubs.
If you live in Brantford, Ontario, or are ever in the area, I highly recommend checking out this very welcoming community space.
How about you? Come across any amazingly welcoming places lately?
