I was in Cincinnati talking about ABCD with the School District. They want to use principles of ABCD to help animate their Community Learning Centers.

That same week the Cincinnati Reds were busy installing new turf at the ballpark so lights have been on early in the morning and into the night. I thought of what they will do to insure this turf transitions, grows well and last for years.

I compared that to what CPS will need to do for the group of eager community builders. The group themselves scheduled times to support each other and also were given great materials by the District to fertilize their transition.
