“Business should be a part of and build community” were the words of Joon, the new manager at the Waves Coffee shop at 2588 Main Street in Vancouver. Over the past few weeks, a it’s like a wave of hospitality has become noticeable here.

Yesterday I noticed these funky tables on edge as I biked by and stopped in to see what was going on.  Joon, the Manager explained that he has seen many bikers going by and wondered what he could do to better serve them.

He did some research and found biking tables in Amsterdam and Tokyo. He thought that  this might bring help bikers together and provide an easier way for them to make a stop during their travels. He has exciting plans to be a part of and build community in his neighborhood.
