On this Earth Day I recall a community event some neighbours and I hosted several years ago. This event was held in a nearby park and invited people to write, draw or paint how they spent “a great day in Vancouver.”

“My Great Day in Vancouver” was a community event that produced a mural of the many ways neighbours spend their best days. Looking back it is interesting how many spent their best days outdoors taking in parks, nature and the spaces all around us.
