Citizens, government and business have come together to create a “New Forest in the City” in Brantford, Ontario. In an area surrounded by a highway and industry, 70,000 native tree species and shrubs have been planted to create a 51 acre beautiful green space. Recently 40 residents came together on a Sunday as part of TD Tree Days and planted 140 new trees. Surrounded by this emerging beauty, many were imagining what the amazing results will look like several years from now. ~Joe
