During a recent interview with a group of community builders, one person commented that they always committed at least 30 minutes of their bi-monthly team meetings to talking about the assets that were seeing in their community.

These assets were people, groups, businesses, places and stories in the neighborhood. She added that there are some very serious problems, but there are so many wonderful things. She was glad that they were disciplined to do this every meeting and that it helped to keep her rooted.
